How to Participate
in the Awards?
People nominate themselves or others for the awards via the nomination form on the website.
The judges assess the nominations and put forward a shortlist of 12 for the awards category who will also go through an audience poll.
The shortlisted 12 will further go through a virtual presentation with the judges.
The 3 Finalists will present their innovation at the CII Innoverge India Innovation Summit 2023
The winners will be decided based on combined Jury points.
- Who can Participate in the Awards Program?
Innovation knows no boundaries and in the same manner, our awards are designed to be open and inclusive, allowing a wide range of individuals, groups, and organizations to participate.
So, you can be an Individual innovator, an established or not so established entrepreneur, student, or professional who has come up with groundbreaking ideas or innovative solutions. You could be an academic Institution or a Non-Profit organization that has implemented innovative initiatives to address social or environmental challenges.
You could be a Community Group that have implemented innovative solutions to improve their communities or you could be Government Agencies that have implemented innovative programs, policies, or services to benefit citizens.
You could be a Social Entrepreneur that have created innovative business models to address societal issues while generating positive social impact.
You could be a developer, engineer, or a tech enthusiast who has created innovative software, applications, or deep technological solutions.
You could be a Healthcare Professional or an Environmental Innovator that has introduced innovative medical technologies, treatments, healthcare practices or developed innovative solutions for sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
So, whoever you are, that doesn’t matter to us. The only qualification is that you should be a true innovator. If yes, you stand a chance to enroll and win the award.

- 1. Potential of a specific impact on development of a sector or stakeholder group in the area
- 2. Criticality of the impact on development of the area
- 3. Problem solving ability of the idea/innovation
- 4. Uniqueness of the idea or innovation in India/globally
- 5. Differentiation of the idea versus other ways to solve similar problems/substitutes
- 6. Ease of Scalability of the idea/ innovation
- 7. Speed of adoption capability of the idea/innovation
- 8. Would it be difficult for future entrants to imitate the idea or innovation?
- 9. Cost saving capability of the idea/ innovation for stakeholders/users
- 10. Resource optimization capability of the idea for stakeholders/users
- 11. Game changing potential of the idea (Does the idea have the potential to challenge and change current methods?)
- 12. Value generation capacity for the users/stakeholders
- 13. Protection of rules of law, individual rights & social equity
- 14. Potential to conserve energy
- 15. Potential to reduce waste

2. About your Innovation (submit one single deck with the below info)
a) 250 word brief on the innovation and the specific problem it solves
b) Solution details with schematics : max 10 slides
c) Financial projections/feasibility ( 3 years)
d) Go to market strategy (flow chart with timelines)
