The Idea2Impact Mentorship Program is an empowering initiative crafted by CII along with Cultinno and Young Indians, for aspiring innovators ready to take their ideas from conception to reality. If you have a brilliant idea that’s yearning to flourish, our mentorship program offers you the guidance, support, and expertise of seasoned mentors who are eager to help you navigate the path of innovation.

People nominate themselves or others for the mentorship program via the nomination form on the website.

The judges assess the nominations and put forward a shortlist of 10 who will be included in the mentorship program.

The 10 shortlisted participants get a free invite to the 3 day Innovation Summit and will be assigned a mentor and given a 6 months time period to work to develop a working prototype.

The successful innovators will get to present their innovation along with a prototype during the next edition of CII Innoverge 2024 and stand a chance to win prizes.

Ultimately, anyone with a creative and innovative idea, regardless of age, gender, background, or professional status, can participate in this mentorship program. Our single minded aim is to bring your innovative ideas to life.

1. Potential of a specific impact on development of a sector or stakeholder group in the area
2. Criticality of the impact on development of the area
3. Problem solving ability of the idea/innovation
4. Uniqueness of the idea or innovation in India/globally
5. Differentiation of the idea versus other ways to solve similar problems/substitutes
6. Ease of Scalability of the idea/ innovation
7. Speed of adoption capability of the idea/innovation
8. Would it be difficult for future entrants to imitate the idea or innovation?
9. Cost saving capability of the idea/ innovation for stakeholders/users
10. Resource optimization capability of the idea for stakeholders/users
11. Game changing potential of the idea (Does the idea have the potential to challenge and change current methods?)
12. Value generation capacity for the users/stakeholders
13. Protection of rules of law, individual rights & social equity
